Debonair's Savanna

To showcase my recent patterns released, I created ensembles for this year's summer collection with thoughts of long summer days in the forefront of my mind and visions of the great outdoors, and chose the adventures of an African safari ~ Debonair's Savanna.

For this savanna theme I made use of my patterns;  Kimana, a fitted bolero jacket and the coordinating cloche hat, Belle, which works perfectly as a safari hat, working these ensembles in safari type colors, and for a finishing touch to complete the look, worked up a new, fun accessory, a bohemian bag. More details of this bag pattern called BoHoh will be blogged about in my next post when the pattern is ready for release.

New from Debonair Designs 2012 summer collection, designed to fit American Girl Dolls and comparable 18" Gotz dolls like my models from the precious day collection; Jessica, Julia, Elisabeth & Emily

Jessica's ensemble is worked in a summer white with accent khaki tan throughout, creating a fresh, clean look, while Emily's ensemble makes use of the khaki tan with an accent of variegated brown for an adventurous look . . .

Julia's outfit, I made use of a rich gold with accents of brown, and for a final look, created a black and white ensemble worked in a Zebra pattern throughout that Elisabeth is showing
