I am a grandmother who was taught to knit with 2 needles. I have tried other
designs but just love yours. You make each one very easy to follow and they
turn out smashing by just using 2 needles. I think I have purchased every one
that you have for 18" dolls. Thanks again for such beautiful work ~ Lyn from Manitoba, Canada
Just want to thank you for your wonderful patterns. They are so easy to
follow, so simple when they start from bottom up. I find it hard to understand
directions when
the pattern commences from neck down. I guess that is because here in
Australia generally all patterns start from the bottom & that is the way I
learnt to knit.
I will be out buying more wool tomorrow, can’t wait to get started!!~ Joan
"Hi Deb, I have just recently started
knitting doll clothes for my grand daughter and wanted to let you know how much
I have enjoyed knitting your patterns.
I'm basically an intermediate knitter but
with your VERY clear line for line instructions,
I have tackled projects that I
would not have typically chosen. I just recently completed the
Archipelago sweater and cap and just love it. I especially enjoy how the
main sweater pieces (back and fronts) are knit in one piece, which creates a
much nicer looker end result. I've knitted other patterns but keep coming
back to your books.
Thank you again for all the effort you put into publishing your
wonderful patterns. A true fan, ~ Pam
"I am from Sweden and I never think I could understand a knitting pattern in English, but it was very clear and easy to understand, the sweater is lovely. Thank you." an admirer
"Adorable pattern, easy to
follow, the headband was a big hit with the girls. Thanks for making me look
great in my grandchildren s hearts. Be back soon!"
"Hi, just wanted to send a quick note to tell you how much I love your patterns.
They work up so nice. I have made your Sinclair, tundra and needing cap. All so
sweet. Thank you again." Sharon
" I just wanted to say I bought your pattern ‘Ayanna’
yesterday, and am really enjoying it! It is my first doll pattern I have
knitted, and I am quite a beginner knitter. I decided to go for your pattern as
it appealed to me and I wanted something to take me out of my comfort
zone.
I have had my Mum round tonight, as she is quite an
experienced knitter, just to be on hand to help me get into the faux fair isle
pattern, but I can honestly say that the pattern is well written enough to be
able to follow it. It s an absolute joy to knit!
Thank you; I hope to buy more of your patterns and will send
you a pic once I have completed this pattern!" Paula
"I am a 58 year old grandmother who just bought her granddaughter an American Doll. Needless to say I am now knitting clothes for 'Saige'. I just want to compliment you on your knitting patterns. I love love love how you spell everything out. I have been knitting for years and 'Ayanna' pattern by far is my most favorite well written pattern. Thank you for sharing your talent and giving us knitters some awesome patterns."
Sincerely, Carol, Virginia
"I just wanted to tell you that I have been having so much fun knitting your patterns. Your instructions are so easy to follow and the designs are ADORABLE. I haven't found any cuter patterns than yours. I've also learned so much by knitting them. I've gone from an advanced-beginner to an intermediate knitter. I've even knitted a cable sweater which is something that scared me to death but because of your easy to follow instructions, it was a breeze. I am now officially an owner of every one of your patterns. I hope you will continue to design new one since you have such a talent for it. You've made knitting a joy for me. I am addicted." Bunni

"I discovered your designs through the Ravelry American Doll Knitting Group and I'm amazed and inspired by your incredible talent. I love all of your designs and plan to make each one eventually. "I have just completed the little cap. I just had to let you know how much I enjoyed working with your pattern! Thank you so very much for sharing your talents with us. I am a 77 yr. old great-grandma, and I have two American Girl dolls and my great granddaughter has one. We get together twice a week to work on their extensive wardrobes, and having so much fun! One more thing, I am "self taught", and appreciate a pattern that gives amounts of stitches at the end of the rows. I find that very helpful. Thanks again". Sincerely, Jacqueline, New Hampshire
"Your work is just gorgeous. I just purchased your other hat patterns and the adrift sweater pattern as well :0). I think you must have the best dressed dolls around! Thanks for always being such a great inspiration in your work. I haven’t seen prettier doll clothes anywhere than the ones that you design." Anne-Marie, Texas
"Every sweater is cuter than the last, which I didn’t think was possible. It is a good thing I have several American Girl dolls as does my grand daughter." Anne, Michigan

"Thanks so much for this pattern: Newsboy Cap. It is just adorable. I made a lot of American Girl doll clothes for my stepdaughters (ages 4 and 7). They are getting dolls for Christmas. When I showed them to bridge club, one of my friends begged me to make one for her granddaughter. I told her after Christmas! Thank again," Mary, Indiana

"I just wanted to drop you a note to say how inspiring your work is! I am pretty sure I could probably favorite your entire page, but I think that would be overkill lol ;) Needless to say I do really hope to get around to making some of your designs, they are wonderful ♥" Danielle, Illinois
"I have just finished making a newsboy cap from the directions you posted on the web and I just wanted to say thank you. The cap is adorable. The directions were excellent. Many others I have downloaded were unclear and hard to follow. Yours were very concise and easy to understand and follow. It was a pleasure to knit this cap and I really appreciate you making the pattern available.Thank you again," Jennette
