Spring Forward ~ Palomino

presenting. . . .' Palomino'
an open twisted rib slouchy hat designed especially to fit the American Girl Dolls and 18" Gotz Dolls like my model, Elisabeth.
This fashion forward slouchy hat pattern is now available for sale.

For this and other patterns check out my knitting pattern page by Debonair Designs

My inspiration for this new design was based on thoughts of spring just around the corner (although for some it does not feel like it), suitable also for the popular upcoming St. Patrick's Day celebrations and named after my daughter’s love of horses.
. . . presenting, 'Palomino II'.

The Shawl Collared Cardigan is hand knitted using an easy care light weight acrylic, and features an open twisted rib pattern that has been worked throughout with gentle cabled stitch work along the front button panels.
The 3/4 length sleeves feature an eyelet row where a soft green silk ribbon has been threaded through and fastened securely in a bow for a finishing touch!

A pair of real working vintage horse motif buttons accent the front for easy dressing.

Always with an eye on fashion this cardigan comes complete with a matching Slouchy Hat (from my own pattern design above).
The slouchy is hand knitted using the matching light cream throughout and also features an open twisted rib pattern to match the cardigan. A larger horse motif vintage button and ribbon loop adorns one side for a complete look.
(Please note, for a trendy slouchy look, place hat at the back of head.)
Rather than any more words, I will leave you with another picture of this trendy ensemble
