presenting Bria

With current weather conditions giving us a warmer temperatures, with more green and no real snow to speak of, my thoughts quickly turned to spring, in particular Saint Patrick's Day, as I find the traditional sweaters so inspirational.

So with pen to paper and knitting needles ready I designed a unique two in one knitting pattern for the popular American Girl Dolls and the comparable 18" Gotz Dolls.

Presenting Bria, the pattern includes both a sweater and cardigan version, featuring a flattering shawl collar neckline along with textured stitches, all formatted into an easy to read pattern that offers line-by-line written instructions , so here are three of my Gotz girls to show and tell

Presenting, 'Adrift' . . a nautical inspired cardigan pattern

Adrift
a nautical cardigan pattern for dolls

by Debonair Designs

I have just released my new pattern, 'Adrift'.
This nautical inspired cardigan pattern features a chevron lace stitch that reminds me of the gently ripples of a flowing tide and waves cresting upon a sandy shoreline. The stitch in turn creates a flattering scalloped edge.

Nautical fashion is still considered today as timeless symbols of escape to distant shores and 'Adrift' is no exception, a perfect lightweight cardigan to go over your doll's favorite tee shirt, yet warm enough for those spring/summer sea breezes.

Designer's Note: Worked flat ~ my preferred knitting technique using my bamboo straights.

Construction: Worked from the bottom up in one piece to armholes, including button bands, then each section is worked individually.

Experience Level: Advance beginner - Intermediate

'Adrift'
a nautical cardigan pattern is available for sale
